Color Club Look Book with BP-L007 stamping

Todays stamping mani is using the very bold Look Book from Color Club. This is a vibrant blue based red which applies effortlessly and is opaque in two coats.

I used another Born Pretty stamping plate and I'm pretty happy with the results!

Base colour: Color Club Look Book
Nail plate: BP- L007

Zoya Neeka with new BM-412 stamping

Wow - there are some great images in the new Bundle Monster stamping pack! Loving that there are heaps of full nail stamps - and that they ship internationally!

Today I'm wearing Zoya Neeka which is an oldie but a goodie from my collection. Neeka is nearly a one coater and great when I'm in a hurry! I stamped using Color Club Eternal Beauty which gives a subtle tone on tone effect. Unfortunately the sun was not co-operative so the true holo effect is subdued.

Color Club - Over the Moon Halo Hues Collection!!

Wowzers! I certainly don't have anything like this in my collection - this polish literally comes to life on my finger tips.

This gorgeous bright blue has a very strong linear holo effect in the sun. In the shade it becomes a more muted silver denim blue. I used a regular base coat and two thin coats and no top coat. The application was simple - no hassles with pulling or streaking and extremely quick drying.

In the sun . . .

Color Club Cosmic Fate Halographic Hues

Today I'd like to share this gorgeous polish from Color Clubs Halographic Hues range - this is the second release of brighter colours.

In the bottle this polish reminds me of old copper pennies - and in the sun it has amazing wow factor. I was very impressed at easy this is to apply - just an ordinary base coat, two easy extremely quick drying coats and no top coat. The coats didn't pull or streak and are very pigmented. I also like how Color Club have given this range a silver brush cap which makes it seem a bit more special.

Onto the pics! The sun was being a bit elusive so this is certainly not as strong holographic effect as it would be in full sun . . . but nevertheless still a strong linear holo effect.

In the shade this is a gorgeous coppery sparkle . . .

EDIT: The sun came out!!!

Color Club Positively Posh with stamping

Today I have a Color Club polish called Positively Posh from the Untamed Luxury collection. Now while I love the colour - I do not love the application. In fact, dare I say it - it's among the worst I have used (sorry Color Club!) The formula was so jelly like and runny that I flooded my cuticles too many times to count. Clean up was a nightmare. Anyway once I got the application and clean up over with I really enjoyed this mid chocolate colour with purple undertones.

This shows three coats. Then to top it off my stamping was a disaster and I had to photograph my right hand instead so please excuse the wonky shots and bad cuticles! lol

So the highlight of my day was purchasing a bottle of China Glaze 2030 for $14 including shipping from our own Trademe (NZ equivalent of Ebay) SCORE!!

Base colour: Color Club Positively Posh
Nail plate: QA 16
Stamp colour: China Glaze 2030
Topped with Essie Good to Go

A England Lady of the Lake vs Wild at Heart

A Englands Lady of the Lake is a glorious rich purple with a scattered holographic effect. Hmmm what more could you want - purple and holographic! lol

This polish is as easy to apply as the others I've sampled and I've fast become a big fan. This show two easy coats.

And here's a comparison shot with Color Club Wild at Heart, which is more holographic. I really love them both.
