Butter London Jaffa stamped with BM 224

Well it's the middle of summer here in New Zealand which means bright and hot, and time for a fun manicure! Todays polish is from Butter London. It's a bit tricky to apply as it goes on quite streaky and tends to pull the bottom layer off. My swatches show 3 thick coats.

This colour is next to impossible to photograph accurately. It's really a dusty orange coral - which is why my swatches look a bit dull - but a more accurate colour match. Outside it photographs more as a bright red coral. Looks cool, but not accurate!

BL Fash Pack stamped BM405

An old favourite - Butter London Fash Pack - a warm taupe cream polish. Stamped with a new, or rather unused plate from Bundle Monster.

I quite like this - it reminds me of the embossed writing on the back of luxury milk chocolate!

CG Short & Sassy with BM 314 stamping

CG Short & Sassy is one of my all time favourite polishes. It's a classical elegant burgundy and I wanted to embellish it but not detract from it's gorgeous deep colour. I randomly stamped images from the BM314 plate in various positions.

Zoya Neeka with new BM-412 stamping

Wow - there are some great images in the new Bundle Monster stamping pack! Loving that there are heaps of full nail stamps - and that they ship internationally!

Today I'm wearing Zoya Neeka which is an oldie but a goodie from my collection. Neeka is nearly a one coater and great when I'm in a hurry! I stamped using Color Club Eternal Beauty which gives a subtle tone on tone effect. Unfortunately the sun was not co-operative so the true holo effect is subdued.

CG Below Deck stamped with CG Joy

Today I'd like to show you a subtle tone on tone manicure. Even though I've had Below Deck for ages this is  my first time wearing it. It's a lovely pastel purple based taupe and goes on evenly and easily. I recently bought some more CG polishes with the express intent on using them for stamping and Joy is one of them. I thought it worked really well!

Excuse my tip wear and the quality of the photos. My husband has 'borrowed' my camera and these are taken with my Galaxy SIII. Also the uploader has randomly rotated the photos . . .?!

OPI Kiss Me on My Tulips with new BM stamping / New BM plate holder

Today I'd like to share this pretty pink from OPI's Dutch collection. Kiss Me on My Tulips is a vibrant blue based pink which is very pigmented and opaque in two coats. The formula is easy to use and dries quickly. This is one of the new plates from Bundle Monster and the image is very detailed and fine. I thought it transferred ok but it was necessary to clean the plate between each nail.

I recently bought one of Bundle Monsters plate holders. This is a fabulous investment. Until now I had been using a credit card holder but with wriggling the plates in and out it was practically falling apart. I love how this folder is robustly made. It has a zip closure which means nothing can fall out and the little pockets have a cutout so it's easy to pull a plate out. There is heaps of storage and each pocket can store two plates.

The cost of the holder was US$14.99 plus US$4.00 for shipping - so a pretty good bargain!

Essie Sew Psyched with new bundle monster stamping

So this has got to be one of the cutest stamping plates I've seen - owls!! Today's mani is Essie Sew Psyched which is a colour I've worn before here and I just love this dusty pastel olive. This was two easy coats.

I've been wanting to break out of my comfort zone and try stamping with some different polishes. This is A England's Bridal Veil - and I am pleasantly surprised with what a good crisp image it produced.

This last photo is my first attempt at photographing in a light box . . . needs some work me thinks! lol At least the colour is fairly accurate.

Essie Hot Coco with new Bundle Monster stamping!

Yay - I've finally got the chance to play with my new Bundle Monster plates!

This is Essie Hot Coco which I got as a mini polish. It's a lovely warm taupe that is very easy to apply and dries quickly. I love these mid browns as they go with just about everything and I don't feel the need to limit what I'm wearing.

This is the most colour accurate photo
