Butter London MacBeth with stamping

I couldn't wait to try out this gorgeous colour from Butter London. This lovely is called MacBeth and it's a vibrant coral red jelly. The pictures really don't do this justice as it's nearly neon and super shiny. The formula is easy to use but needs three coats to be opaque. This isn't my swatching hand but I'd already started stamping my left hand and wanted to show MacBeth on its own.

With stamping . . . I love how loud and vibrant this turned out! In fact I even have it on my toes. lol Perfect for our summer days just starting to peak in.

Base colour: Butter London MacBeth
Nail plate: Bundle Monster BM-224

Butter London Fash Pack with stamping

Todays manicure shows a polish I've been wanting for ages. Butter London is not widely available in NZ and certainly not for a reasonable price. Nevertheless I was recently able to obtain 4 of these coveted polishes for $15 each and Fash Pack is one of them.

Fash Pack is a warm golden taupe - not unlike China Glaze Ingrid. I must confess to being somewhat disappointed that the obvious gold shimmer in the bottle didn't transfer to my nails. Still I'm very happy with this colour and the easy application.

Power Thief with stamping

Just a quick post to show Power Thief with some stamping from my new Red Angel plates . . . sorry I had to use my other hand as the stamping on there was better but the photo quality is a lot worse! The RA plates worked very well.

Nail plate: Red Angel RA-111

Cult Nails - Power Thief

This may well be my new favourite polish - EVER! I just love everything about this. Power Thief is effortless to apply, the formula is just the right consistency and don't even get me started on the silver micro glitter! I'm not sure how best to describe the colour but I'd say it is a warm mid brown/taupe. This shows two coats . . .

New Image Plates!! Red Angel plates on show (Pic heavy!)

I'm so excited to show these plates I got from Amazon.com - and they arrived in only a week.

There are 21 plates and they arrived in a cute little bag. All of the plates have a blue film on them for protection. No paper backing but I'm not concerned about that, just means a little extra care on the sharp edges.

So here they are . . . can't wait to try them!

Essie Sew Psyched with stamping

Sew Psyched is a gorgeous dusty, pastel olive green. It is a lovely creme formula that is almost opaque in one coat (photos show two coats) and I love Essie brushes which have just the right amount of softness and flex for perfect control and easy application.

China Glaze First Mate with stamping

Todays manicure is China Glaze's First Mate which is a dusty royal blue creme. First Mate applies beautifully and is almost a one coater. I love these ultra pigmented polishes! This is an unusual blue that goes well with jeans in my opinion.

And just 'cos I wanted to see how it would look matte . . . topped with Essie Matte About You. Interesting how it totally changed the colour of the blue.
