Cult Nails - Devious Nature with stamping

Well it's been a long time since I've posted as we've been enjoying our summer holidays - even though they've been wet and windy! Still back to reality now, so hopefully a bit more time for some regular posts.

This is the first time I've tried Cult Nails Devious Nature and it doesn't disappoint. This gorgeous blue based creme goes on beautifully and is opaque in two coats.

Power Thief with stamping

Just a quick post to show Power Thief with some stamping from my new Red Angel plates . . . sorry I had to use my other hand as the stamping on there was better but the photo quality is a lot worse! The RA plates worked very well.

Orly zebra stripes

I've been wanted to give some zebra stripes a try for a while now . . . and having done it, I'm really not that thrilled with the result. For some reason I'm just not that struck with how it turned out. Anyway I thought I'd share the final result.

The base is Orly Matte Vinyl which is a lovely opaque formula. It goes on super easily and is quick drying. Then I stamped using China Glaze Millennium which is very nice to stamp with (as long as you are quick!) I finished with Essie Good to Go and then China Glazes Matte Magic on top of that.

So is it better glossy or matte?

Ski Teal We Drop!

Even though this colour has been around for some time, it's my first time wearing it. What a lovely formula. It applied so easily and perfectly and was completely opaque in two coats. It also dried very quickly - so checked all my boxes!

This isn't normally a colour I would wear but I have a top in a similar colour so thought I may as well give it a go. It's really grown on me. I liked it a LOT more before I stamped it unfortunately.

Now I just need to get a great topcoat that won't smudge my stamping. I've been using Seche Vite and while this is the most amazing product I'm really looking for something that is a little less toxic - I'd love to know if there's a safer alternative.

Righto - so I like this a whole lot better with a matte finish . . .

Vibrant Fuschia

Love this bold fuchsia colour with a vibrant purple base and it dries super fast. This is my favourite konad stamp – so delicate!
