Short & Sassy!

This is the lovely Short & Sassy from China Glaze. It's a very pretty, regal, shimmery, burgundy red. This formula applies easily and is opaque in two coats. Unfortunately I was a bit heavy handed and applied some of it too thickly and generated some tiny bubbles, but a generous coat of Essie Good to Go took care of this problem.

I did double stamp all of my nails with this image (except my pinkie finger) as the image is very small. Wouldn't it be great if BM were to duplicate these plates but in the same size as Konad plates?

Chic Chocolate with stamping

I got this polish in a discount bin and wow, it's amazing. It's a gorgeous dark shimmery chocolate colour that looks almost black on my nails - until it goes in the sunlight! Just love this colour. The formula applied easy and was nearly opaque in one coat which I love. And to top it off it dried true to it's claims of "50 second nail color".

Nail plate: Konad M70
Stamp colour: China Glaze 2030

Oh I couldn't be more excited!!! I've FINALLY laid my hands on China Glazes legendary 2030! I've been searching for so long and finally have it in my hot little hands. Yippeee!

Here Today . . . Aragon Tomorrow Part 2

So this is my previous polish with Kleancolor Chunky Black Holo over the top and finished with China Glaze Matte magic.

The matte look is pretty different but I quite like it and had heaps of comments on my nails today.

Here Today . . . Aragon Tomorrow

I've been really keen to see how this polish looks since it's almost black in the bottle. In the sunlight there's a definite green hue. The first coat was really streaky and even after two thick coats it still wasn't opaque (pointer finger). Never mind I want to give my Kleancolor Chunky Black Holo a whirl over this so it's all good - stay tuned!

Ski Teal We Drop!

Even though this colour has been around for some time, it's my first time wearing it. What a lovely formula. It applied so easily and perfectly and was completely opaque in two coats. It also dried very quickly - so checked all my boxes!

This isn't normally a colour I would wear but I have a top in a similar colour so thought I may as well give it a go. It's really grown on me. I liked it a LOT more before I stamped it unfortunately.

Now I just need to get a great topcoat that won't smudge my stamping. I've been using Seche Vite and while this is the most amazing product I'm really looking for something that is a little less toxic - I'd love to know if there's a safer alternative.

Here's the pics . . .

Righto - so I like this a whole lot better with a matte finish . . .

Nina Ricci #12

Just thought I'd share a swatch of this lovely burnt orange from Nina Ricci. This is # 12 in the mini polish box I got recently.

Wow, I really love this colour. It's almost impossible to tell from my camera but this polish has the tiniest gold shimmer throughout. It's opaque in two coats and applies easily. LOVE it!!

And stamping added....

My first French Manicure!

This is my first attempt at a French manicure and I think it turned out ok - except for the terrible discolouration of my nails showing through! lol Better to stick with opaque colours I guess.

Nail plate: Konad M73
Stamp colour: Konad Special polish:White
Topped with Seche Vite
